Aloha, from beautiful Maui!
Decorating Destinations Maui is a hotel decoration business striving to make your vacation truly unforgettable. We started the business in 2022 after decorating a friend's hotel room for Valentine's day. They were overjoyed with how special their room was decorated. We had so much fun creating this magical space for the couple and in that moment realized this could be an incredible opportunity for us. Our mission is creating unforgettable moments for you and those special people in your lives, while visiting our island, or enjoying a staycation!

Common Questions
How far should I book in advance ?
We prefer you book at least 4 weeks in advance! We can accept last minute requests depending on our availability and if you want customized keepsakes so its always worth an email! Contact us and see if we can!
What if my trip gets cancelled ? Do you offer refunds?
Yes, things happen and trips get cancelled! We offer full refunds as long as you cancel before 24 hours. Within 24 hours, you will receive a 50% refund. You will be charged for any personalized/monogrammed items that were ordered.
Can you decorate my hotel room in the middle of our trip or just on arrival?
We can decorate your hotel room at any point on your vacation. If you would like it decorated upon your arrival, we can do that as well! The timeline is up to you!
Do you work with all hotels, VRBO's and Air BNB? How do you get into my room?
We work with almost all resorts and vacation rentals! We will check with them after you place a request and make sure there are no issues. If you have already checked in, we request that all valuables be placed in the safe and a key be left at the front desk under our name so that we may enter when you are out of the room. If you haven't checked in yet, you will leave our name with the hotel and we will handle the rest! We will coordinate all the details!
Do you do staycations or home decoration if I live in Maui? Do you Have Kama'aina?
Yes and yes! We would love to decorate your home for a special occasion! Please give us the details in the comments or send us a message on our Instagram page! We offer 15% off for local Hawaii residents with valid ID!
Do you decorate all over the island?
Yes! We go to Lahaina, Ka'anapali, Honokawai, Napili and Kapalua. We also go to Wailea and Kihei for an additional fee of $100. If you are staying elsewhere like upcountry or Paia, reach out to us! We are willing to go anywhere and work with anyone!
What forms of payment do you accept ?
We work with Paypal and all major credit cards.
Terms and Conditions
1. In the event of a cancellation after the package is booked, we will work with you on providing a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of the decoration event will be refunded at 50%. If the customer has to postpone or move the check-in date, we will work with you to get this rescheduled to the best of our ability.
2. In the event of a cancellation, any personalized decor costs and shipping of those items will be incurred by the client (if materials have already been purchased).
3. Decorating Destinations Maui reserves the right to utilize photos and video footage of your room to add to its event portfolio and share it with future clients. The client agrees to the use by Decorating Destinations Maui of such photos and video footage. Furthermore, if your decorated room is shared on other websites, media, television, etc. the client agrees to credit Decoration Destinations Maui appropriately.
4. Decorating Destinations Maui is not responsible for any damages to personal property or loss of personal property related to your hotel room. Please make sure all valuable jewelry, any money or important documents are placed in a safe or taken with you.
